UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVITY THROUGH SMARTPHONES

On Wednesday, 19 February 2020, ISTTS held a KSP (Knowledge Sharing Program) with the theme "Unleash Your Creativity Through Smartphones". The KSP which was held in room E-402 was attended by 60 ISTTS students from across generations and across departments. The speaker of the KSP this time was Mr. Sigit Firdaus Prayogi, S.T., M.Ds. who is one of the ISTTS S1 Product Design lecturers.

The seminar presented by Mr. Sigit Firdaus Prayogi, S.T., M.Ds. This explains how important creativity is in someone's life, especially in the Industrial 4.0 era and how to maximize this creativity using a smartphone.

Mr. Sigit said that it is important for someone to understand what creative means. "If we don't understand what creative means, it will be difficult for us to develop a work or product. We will be confused, "he said. In his explanation of creativity, creative includes 6 things, namely: fantasy, imagination, originality, inventiveness, intuition and aesthetics.

He also touched on the understanding of creativity that is usually circulating among students. "There is a view that it is as if creative only has children in the design faculty and this is wrong. Since birth we have been creative, "he said

He explained that in his spare time, gadgets can help us to be productive. "Gadgets are tools that we can use to maximize our creativity by being creative," he explained.

Some of the things we can do to be creative, include: draw doodles using a smartphone, try new things, and just embrace your inner child!
