Easy & Aesthetic Layout for Instagram Story

KSP season 10 episode 6 will be held on October 6, 2021, with the theme Easy and Aesthetic Layout for Instagram Story. This material was presented by Mrs. Bonifacia Bulan Aruming Tyas, S.Ds., M.A., a lecturer in the Visual Communication Design Department at ISTTS. This webinar is held via the Zoom and Youtube platforms.

She specializes in today's material on Instagram Story layouts. With Mrs. Boni's relaxed demeanor, she introduced things that could help us in the layout, especially the Instagram Story layout. Layout itself is an arrangement of content that we have previously defined, including text, images, and styles. A successful layout will be easy to attract potential customers, user friendly, easy to understand and universal.

Bu Boni also teaches about the parts of layout and the principles used in layouts, where we can apply design principles in our layouts. Bu Boni gave examples from her Instagram Stories to demonstrate the application of these design principles, so that the participants could better understand the points in question.

Instagram itself is very innovative in its application development. In the past, Instagram Stories could only last for 24 hours, now, there is a highlight feature on Instagram, so Instagram Stories can be made permanent. These various feature developments increase the interest of Instagram users to pay attention to aesthetics when creating Stories on their Instagram accounts.

During the presentation of the material, Bu Boni was also open to receiving questions from the participants, besides that, she also invited several participants to interact during the event. She also took the time to demonstrate the layout of Instagram Stories by applying the design principles the participants had learned during the material session. She also invited several participants to layout together, by giving their opinions. While demonstrating the layout process, Mrs. Boni gave useful tips and knowledge about Instagram Stories. After the demonstration, the Webinar was closed with a question and answer session, followed by a group photo session and filling in attendance via Google Form.
