On Monday, 15 June 2020, Dr. Decky Avrilukito, S.Sn., MM or commonly known as "Pak Dee", presented a KSP entitled "Baper Advertising". What is "Baper Advertising"? Broadly speaking, baper advertising is an advertisement for a product, which can touch the hearts of the audience. Usually, this advertising baper is uploaded in the form of a short movie. However, this method of advertising by writing a paper has not yet been implemented in the advertising world in Indonesia.

Before the start of the seminar, Mr. Dee showed a video of the singer Alm. Didi Kempot is often referred to as "The Godfather of Broken Heart". There he showed that this is an example of baper advertising that already exists in Indonesia. Not only that, to make the participants "baper", he also played a song with the theme of heartbreak before the start of the seminar. Besides that, he also exhibited the work of ISTTS DKV students, ranging from new students to those who have graduated. He also gave a film cut made by students contested in Jakarta, and won 1st place.

During the seminar, he also showed the comparison between advertising in Indonesia, and Thailand's country making advertisement. He showed how insurance advertisement in Indonesia, and insurance advertisement in Thailand. On this occasion, he proved that baper advertising is very important to be implemented in Indonesia, because on the one hand the advertisement is interesting and not boring, but also can touch the feelings of the audience. Then he also presented one of the international brands that we are familiar with with dairy products and cereals. And some people agree that this baper advertising method is very effective in attracting the attention of the audience.

Mr. Dee also taught the participants who attended the seminar. How to? Starting from making Idea Mapping, choosing anti-mainstream ideas, and so on. However, it should be emphasized that baper does not only make people fall in love. If the audience gets angry or laughs because of the advertisement we make, it means that we have made our viewers "baper". He also shared about his experiences while working at this large tobacco company in Indonesia. He has faced many challenges while working under a large tobacco company.

At the end of the seminar, he also emphasized again. The key to making the audience baper is, "Be different". So, the conclusion is "think out of the box, start from now". Not only does it make us think from various sides, but also makes us more creative and anti-mainstream!
