Psychedelic art (also known as psychedelia) is a visual art movement related to or inspired by hallucinatory experiences, created by the English psychologist Humphry Osmond which means "the manifestation of thoughts".

Artistic attempts to describe the inner world of the soul can be considered "psychedelic". In general terms, "psychedelic art" presents highly distorted or surreal (super realist) visuals - from dreams, bright colors, full spectrum, to animations to evoke, convey, or enhance hallucinatory experiences that this time we borrow in film fashion.
